Dried Lušt tomatoes give this Slovenian London Dry gin its savoury Mediterranean accent. Bottled at 47%, it combines tomato notes with juniper and herbs while remaining dry and clearly structured. Subtle fruit sweetness complements its spicy character.

The Lušt tomatoes come from Prekmurje and are processed when fully ripe. Before distillation, they are macerated together with the selected botanicals to release their aromas into the mixture. The gin contains no added sugar, is produced in limited batches and is bottled by hand.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Juniper comes to the fore on the nose, followed by savoury notes of dried tomatoes and delicate herbal spice. Anise and coriander round out the aroma.
• Palate: On the palate, the gin is dry and clearly structured, balancing spicy accents with subtle fruit sweetness. Its texture is oily, with lightly salty notes of dried tomatoes, pronounced juniper, anise, mint and pepper.
• Finish: The finish feels fresh, with a fleshy, sweet tomato note that lingers for a long time. Pepper, anise, liquorice and juniper give the aftertaste pronounced spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

Kiss of Immortality d.o.o. develops and distils Heaven & Hell Gin in Velika Polana. The brand is based in Prekmurje, the Slovenian plain along the Mura. For Lušt Tomato Gin, it combines traditional London Dry production with a locally grown ingredient: the tomatoes are macerated with the other botanicals before distillation. The gin is then bottled by hand.
