Elderflower and lemongrass define Mura Elderflower Elixir from Heaven & Hell. Juniper provides the gin's foundation, while bergamot and lemon balm add citrus and herbal notes. The recipe includes 47 botanicals, including real elderflowers used during distillation.

This bottling grew out of the Heaven & Hell team's enthusiasm for the Slovenian football club NS Mura and its victories. Originally known as The Winners by Mura, it now bears the name Elderflower Elixir. This Slovenian distilled gin has an alcohol content of 40% and comes in a bottle containing 0.7 litres.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, fruity impressions mingle with the scent of white elderflowers. A bittersweet floral note and spicy citrus aromas bring freshness.
• Palate: On the palate, elder and juniper initially combine with light-coloured fruit aromas. The spice of lemongrass follows, while bergamot and lemon balm complement the mouth-filling sweetness.
• Finish: A slight tartness emerges on the finish. Fresh, spicy and fruity notes linger.

Distillery/Bottler:

The Kiss of Immortality distillery in Velika Polana is behind Heaven & Hell. Its home is the Slovenian region of Prekmurje, the plain along the Mura. Robert Sobocan is the creator behind Heaven & Hell. For the Mura gin, the botanicals are macerated before slow, gentle distillation carries their aromas into the spirit.
