Special features: The Silent Mills series from High Coast Whisky is based on the "Timmer" bottling of the Origins series and is characterized by its peaty note. Silent Mills 03 – Svanö was matured in 200-liter bourbon barrels and then finished in new Swedish oak barrels to enhance the complexity and depth of flavor. This bottling is neither colored nor chill-filtered and was bottled at an alcohol content of 51%.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Delicate peatiness, accompanied by aromas of vanilla, pear, ginger, and a light citrus note.
- Palate: Sweet peatiness with vanilla and a hint of citrus fruits, complemented by spicy bread crusts.
