Special features: The High Coast Solera 04 is the fourth release of the Solera series from the Swedish High Coast Distillery. This single malt whisky has matured in a unique solera system consisting of six levels. The top five levels are made up of 200-liter bourbon barrels, while the bottom level houses special 225-liter barrels made of Swedish oak. This complex maturation system ensures a harmonious blend of different ages and gives the whisky depth and complexity.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Inviting sweetness with aromas of honey and orchard fruits, accompanied by notes of vanilla, caramel, and white pepper.
• Palate: Full-bodied and creamy, presenting a rich blend of fruits – apples are prominent, followed by pear and pineapple. Subtle hints of ginger and cinnamon provide a warming spice.
• Finish: Medium-length, with the fruitiness remaining and accompanied by gentle spices and a velvety note of milk chocolate.
