Special features: This 30-year-old single malt whisky from the closed Imperial Distillery was bottled by Signatory Vintage as part of the "Symington's Choice" series. It was matured in a hogshead cask, resulting in a complex and profound tasting experience. The bottling is limited to 189 bottles and was bottled in natural color and without chill filtration.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: A rich bouquet of dried fruits, honey, and a hint of oak unfolds in the glass.
- Palate: On the palate, the whisky is full-bodied and velvety, with flavors of ripe plums, raisins, and candied oranges, accompanied by notes of dark chocolate, honey, and nut nuances.

Distillery/Bottler: The Imperial Distillery was founded in 1897 by Thomas MacKenzie and was known for its high-quality single malts. It was closed in 1998 and demolished in 2013 to make way for the Dalmunach Distillery. Signatory Vintage is an independent bottler known for its careful selection and bottling of rare and old whiskies.
