This 28-year-old Invergordon Single Grain owes its profile to a 34-month finishing maturation in a first-fill Rivesaltes barrique. Distilled on 23 May 1997 and bottled on 30 August 2025, it comes from cask 300725; Brave New Spirits bottled 253 bottles from it at a cask strength of 51.9%. The bottling is part of the Distiller's Cut range from Cask Masters. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and contains no colouring.
The whisky combines dried fruit, honey and berries with caramel, vanilla, spice and oak. Its texture is creamy; a subtle citrus note brightens the nose, while the long finish highlights drying oak.

Invergordon was founded in 1959 and began production in 1961. This Highland distillery operates column stills that stand more than 50 feet tall. The grain spirit produced in them develops much of its character during the subsequent cask maturation.
Brave New Spirits has operated in Glasgow since 2020 as an independent bottler and blender, with its own bonded warehouse and bottling facility. Cask Masters focuses on single casks and transparent details about age, cask and bottling. For this Distiller's Cut release, the company bottled the 28-year-old Invergordon at 51.9% after its Rivesaltes finish.
