This distillery was founded in 2017 and is part of the Na Sia Single Cask Series. The whisky matured for seven years in American Rye Whiskey Casks from the Woodford Reserve Distillery in Kentucky. With an alcohol content of 57.3%, it is offered as Cask Strength and is not chill-filtered.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals warm wood smoke layered over creamy butterscotch and vanilla. Rye spice meets roasted marshmallows and sweet oak, complemented by a hint of grated lemon zest.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky is robust and oily, with black pepper and a pinch of cinnamon at the forefront. Beneath, caramel toffee, dark fruits, and malt sugar flow, surrounded by aromatic smoke and slightly salty nuances.
• Finish: The finish slowly fades with spicy smoke. Caramelized sugar and syrup gradually give way to drier oak and ashy embers, while peppery warmth lingers persistently.

Distillery/Bottler: The Isle of Raasay Distillery is known for its remarkable origin as the first legal distillery on the Isle of Raasay, founded in 2017. Its whisky is part of the Na Sia Single Cask Series. For maturation, only an American rye cask is used, highlighting the uniqueness of this bottling.
