Jameson Crested recalls 1963, when Jameson first bottled its own whiskey at Bow Street and thereby extended its quality control through to the finished bottle. The present-day Jameson Crested emerged from the renaming of Crested Ten in 2016 and continues this historical connection.

This triple-distilled blend combines a high proportion of pot still whiskey with grain whiskey. Whiskeys from first-fill bourbon casks and sherry casks are married to create the composition. Its sherry-led character brings together toffee, caramel and dried fruit such as candied orange and raisins with vanilla, dark chocolate, toasted wood and delicate spice.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals lively sherry notes and the distinctive character of pot still whiskey, complemented by ripe fruit and vanilla.
• Palate: On the palate, delicate sherry notes and toasted wood mingle with fruit, spices and chocolate, while vanilla rounds out the balanced profile.
• Finish: The finish is warm and lingering with sherry notes; oak and restrained sweetness remain in the aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler:

The history of the Jameson brand began at Bow Street in Dublin in 1780. Since 1975, Jameson has been made at Midleton Distillery in County Cork, where Irish Distillers produces and blends the whiskey. Jameson Crested is an official bottling from the brand and continues its historical connection with Bow Street.
