Special Features:

The 14-year-old Jura combines the distillery’s fruity, aromatic character with a two-stage maturation. The whisky first matures in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being finished in selected American rye casks. This second maturation phase complements the sweet citrus and vanilla notes with herbal, floral and spicy nuances. The whisky is bottled at 40% ABV.

As part of Jura’s packaging redesign in 2025, this expression received new labels, while the whisky itself remained unchanged. Caramel apple, pecan pie, cinnamon, cocoa and hazelnut combine to create a distinctly spicy accent.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals fresh citrus fruit and vanilla, accompanied by herbs, flowers, mango, mint and crushed almonds.
• Palate: On the palate, caramel apple and pecan pie combine with cinnamon, vibrant vanilla, honey, cocoa and hazelnut.
• Finish: The finish is warm and nutty, with toffee, maple syrup, guava and gentle woody spices.

Distillery/Bottler:

Jura Distillery produces this 14-year-old single malt as an official distillery bottling. Founded in 1810 and reopened in 1963, the distillery uses exceptionally tall and broad stills. The increased contact with copper encourages a fruity, aromatic spirit character, which maturation in bourbon and rye casks develops further. The distillery has belonged to Whyte & Mackay since 1994.
