Special features: Kavalan LÁN is a single malt whisky from Taiwan, produced by the Kavalan Distillery, which was founded in 2005. Bottled with an alcohol content of 43% in a 700 ml bottle, this whisky combines traditional elements with innovative methods. The distillery uses imported malt from Scotland and Finland as well as spring water from the Xue Shan mountains. Additionally, various types of casks are used, including American white oak and Vinho wine casks, to create a complex play of aromas. It is presented in an attractive gift packaging.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose shows complex notes of orchids, roses, jasmine, and peonies. This is complemented by creamy vanilla, chocolate, caramel, and cantaloupe melon, as well as aromas of gummy candy, nuts, and cinnamon.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky presents itself refreshingly floral, with fruity undertones that blend with creamy and chocolatey notes.
• Finish: The finish is long-lasting and shows nutty and cinnamon wood notes.

Distillery/Bottler: The Kavalan Distillery is located in Yuanshan, Yilan County, Taiwan, and has been producing whisky since 2006. It uses imported malt and spring water from the surrounding area to create high-quality spirits. The distillery has earned an international reputation and is considered a pioneer of Taiwanese whisky. The use of casks made from American white oak and European oak allows for a variety of flavors to shine through in their bottlings.
