Special features: The fourth part of the limited Genesis series from Kilchoman, documenting the creation of the whisky from barley to bottle. This edition is characterized by exclusive maturation in bourbon, cognac, and sherry casks – for the first time, cognac casks are used. Only Islay peat is used for production, with barley sourced from Kilchoman at 20 ppm peat content and from Port Ellen Maltings at 50 ppm. The bottling is done without color additives and without chill filtration, preserving the natural characteristics.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Gentle peat smoke combined with a wealth of fresh fruits and a sweet note.
- Palate: Tropical and dried fruits emerge, accompanied by caramel sweetness and subtle spice nuances.
