Special features: The Kookie Irish Gin was created in a special collaboration between Irish radio host and entertainer Alan Clark, who hails from County Mayo, and the Connacht Distillery. Under the expert guidance of gin specialist Julia Nourney, bergamot and rose petals were added as characteristic botanicals. The second batch of this gin, bottled at 42.4% vol., is enjoying great popularity after the first one sold out quickly in Ireland.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Fresh with pronounced citrus notes, supported by floral and herbal juniper and coriander aromas.
• Palate: Spicy and complex with oily juniper, citrusy coriander seed notes like blood orange zest and candied orange peel, as well as piquant, tart nuances of sloe and wild fruits.
• Finish: Long-lasting with oily juniper note and subtly floral, bitter dryness.

Distillery/Bottler: The Connacht Distillery in Ireland combines traditional distilling art with modern creativity. Alan Clark, a host and comedian from County Mayo, contributed his local roots and expertise. Under the guidance of gin specialist Julia Nourney, a refined Irish gin was created that appeals to both connoisseurs and newer gin fans.
