Special features: This Aqua Vitae is based on a medieval recipe from the 15th century, which was first mentioned in the records of Lindores Abbey in 1494. The Lindores Abbey Distillery, founded in 2017, has reinterpreted this historic drink, combining tradition with modern distillation art.

The McKenzie Smith family, which operates the company, places great importance on sustainability and uses locally grown Concerto barley for production. Additionally, the family is involved in the Lindores Abbey Preservation Society to preserve the cultural heritage of the abbey.
