London 40 follows a classic juniper-led London Dry style and is made using a four-stage distillation process. Its clean, straightforward profile combines juniper with citrus, herbs and floral notes while keeping juniper at the forefront. The gin is smooth and bottled at 40% alcohol.

London 40 is part of the Diamond Spirits range and comes in its characteristic faceted bottle.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals juniper, herbs, citrus and floral notes.
• Palate: Juniper leads on the palate. The other botanicals are balanced and clearly defined, while a citrus accent adds freshness.
• Finish: The finish is short, clean and dry.

Distillery/Bottler:

OSA Fine Spirits includes London 40 in its Diamond Spirits range. Development of the range began in 2008 with Sarah Gorton's idea of expanding the existing selection with spirits for cocktails and social occasions. Working with Master Distiller Joanne Moore, she first developed Pink 47.

The bottle design was also created for this range: inspired by her engagement ring, Sarah Gorton commissioned a crystal glass designer to create a distinctive diamond-shaped bottle. This design concept links the range's different gins and its vodka.
