The finish in a small Oloroso sherry octave shapes this ten-year-old bottling from The Octave series. The whisky was distilled on 15 January 2015 and bottled on 7 October 2025. Duncan Taylor bottled the whisky from cask 11145589 at cask strength of 54.5%, yielding only 92 bottles of 0.7 litres each. The bottling is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.

The Oloroso finish accentuates the fruity, nutty character with dried fruit such as figs and raisins, together with toasted almonds. Chocolate, caramel, spices and oak complement the profile, while a subtle smoky note provides a gentle contrast. Sherry, nuts and tannins linger throughout the long finish.

Founded in 1971, Mannochmore Distillery is located in Scotland's Speyside region and produced the single malt distilled in 2015. Mannochmore is typically characterised by an oily texture, fruity and floral notes, and an often pronounced dryness. As the independent bottler, Duncan Taylor handled the finish in the Oloroso sherry octave and bottled the whisky from cask 11145589 in 2025.

Duncan Taylor operates its own cask warehouses, cooperage and bottling facility in Huntly. This allows the company to monitor and work on its maturing casks at its own site and to bottle selected whiskies itself.
