Special features: This rare single cask cognac from the 1945 vintage is presented as a limited edition of only 144 bottles. Matured in the deep, humid cellars of Sainte-Lheurine, one of the finest terroirs in Petite Champagne, it develops exceptional aromas and textures. The combination of new oak barrels and underground wooden vats supports the complex maturation process.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Complex aromas of yellow fruits reminiscent of airy apricot mousse, accompanied by dried orange peel, tobacco, old wood, honey, herbs and a subtle scent of lavender – an olfactory journey through the nature of Sainte-Lheurine.
• Palate: Fresh orange peel opens, followed by juicy mango and an impressive minerality reminiscent of a clear mountain stream or fine Burgundy white wine. Semi-dry notes of stone fruit like vineyard peach combine with forest honey and delicate spices. The distinctive limestone note lends the cognac depth and harmony.
• Finish: Long-lasting, multifaceted and concise, with the minerality remaining present and impressively expressing the origin.
