This Miltonduff was distilled on 9 March 2007 and matured for 16 years in a bourbon cask. Hart Brothers bottled the whisky on 9 August 2023 as a single-cask release at a cask strength of 54.2%. It is non-chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Its profile combines ripe pear and honeydew melon with vanilla and floral accents. Baked apple, shortbread and marzipan lead into delicate spice and a gentle aftertaste of sweet fruit, oak and nuts.

Distillery/Bottler:

Miltonduff traces its origins to a mill that was converted into a licensed distillery in 1824. Today, it is Chivas Brothers’ production centre, and its malt is an important component of Ballantine’s.

Hart Brothers Limited was founded in 1964 by Iain and Donald Hart as a wine and spirits wholesaler and Scotch whisky blender. The company sources distinctive malt and grain whiskies, matures them further and selects them for single-cask bottlings after careful tasting. Hart Brothers is the independent bottler of this Miltonduff. The company regards single-cask bottlings as unique, unrepeatable releases and documents past bottlings in its own archive with distillery histories and tasting notes.
