Volume: 0.05 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes
Special Features:
This miniature presents Monkey Shoulder in a 0.05-litre bottle at 40% alcohol. The Blended Malt Scotch Whisky combines three Speyside single malts, selected and married in small batches. The updated bottle design changes its appearance, not the recipe: the miniature still contains the familiar Monkey Shoulder Original. Its smooth, rounded character is specifically designed for cocktails.
The whisky combines malty sweetness and creamy vanilla with orange, honey and spice notes. Spicy oak complements the fruity, sweet profile without overshadowing its approachable overall character.
Tasting Notes:
Distillery/Bottler:
William Grant & Sons launched Monkey Shoulder in 2005 and owns the brand. The company composes the whisky from Speyside single malts, marries them in small batches and bottles it as an official bottling. The brand name recalls the history of the malt men who once turned malted barley by hand.
