Special features: The Neisson Zetwal is an exclusive Rhum Agricole from the renowned Martinique distillery Neisson. This noble drop combines various rums that were distilled between 2000 and 2013 and are usually reserved for the prestigious Armada collection. Bottled in an elegant crystal decanter named Sirius, the Zetwal is presented in a limited edition of 500 bottles. The name "Zetwal," which means "star" in Creole, refers to the historical navigational aids of sailors who once transported the rum across the oceans.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Complex with aromas of dried apricots, caramel, exotic fruits like persimmon, and citrus notes of orange. A hint of herbs like sage and thyme adds depth.
• Palate: Lively and velvety, with a blend of lime zest, dried fruits like figs and dates, candied orange, and cocoa. The flavors evolve into spicy notes of ginger and nutty pralines.
• Finish: Long and velvety, starting with warm sugarcane juice, followed by honey notes of geranium and heather. Intense aromas of sugarcane dominate the aftertaste.

Distillery/Bottler: The Neisson distillery was founded in 1932 by brothers Adrien and Jean Neisson in Le Carbet on the island of Martinique. Jean, a trained chemical engineer, dedicated himself to improving distillation techniques and installed a Savalle still in 1938, which he modified himself. Today, the distillery is run by Claudine and her son Grégory Vernant Neisson. Since 2013, the company has increasingly focused on organic farming and is researching various sugarcane varieties and cultivation methods. Neisson is considered one of the most innovative and ambitious distilleries in Martinique.
