Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Sweetness of apple pie and raisins, roasted notes with gentle smokiness
- Palate: Oak wood, spicy cinnamon, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, sweet apricot jam
- Finish: Gentle peat, sweet and sour notes, long bitterness
Distillery/Bottler: Nikka Whisky was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru. The distillery is known for its traditional production and the use of ingredients from Japan and Scotland. The whiskies are produced at various distilleries such as Yoichi and Miyagikyo.
