Special Features:

For its second 100 Proof Grain Edition, Signatory Vintage brought together whisky from first- and second-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels. Dark fruit meets cereal, vanilla and caramel in this bottling.

This single grain was distilled in 2009, matured for 15 years and bottled in 2025 at 57.1%. It is not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring. The bottle holds 0.7 litres.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, pronounced cereal notes and creamy vanilla combine with plums, blackcurrants, toasted nuts and caramel.
• Palate: Pronounced malt notes with toasted hints and sweet caramel shape the full-bodied palate. Cream toffees, dark berries, caramelised nuts and delicate oak spice add further layers.
• Finish: The long finish brings dark chocolate and toasted hazelnut, while a hint of fruit and sweet caramel linger.

Distillery/Bottler:

The North British Distillery in Edinburgh produces grain whisky. Andrew Usher, William Sanderson and John Crabbie founded the company in 1885 to secure their own shared supply of grain spirit; the distillery began operating in 1887. North British distilled the whisky in this bottling, while Signatory Vintage selected the casks and bottled the matured whisky.

Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. Since moving to Pitlochry, the independent bottler has operated at the Edradour Distillery site. For this Grain Edition, it brought together whisky from Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels.
