Features: The Olmeca Altos Plata Tequila is presented in a newly designed packaging for the year 2026. Made from 100% blue Weber agave from the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, it is produced using traditional methods, including the use of a heavy volcanic stone wheel (Tahona) to crush the cooked agave. This traditional production method preserves the natural flavors of the agave and gives the tequila its characteristic purity and freshness.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Fresh agave aromas with notes of citrus, green herbs, and a hint of pepper.
- Palate: Soft and balanced with sweet agave notes, fresh lime, slightly earthy undertones, and a pleasant spiciness.
- Finish: Medium-long, smooth, and slightly spicy with a refreshing citrus note.
Distillery/Bottler: Olmeca Tequila is produced at the Destileria Colonial de Jalisco in Arandas, Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery takes advantage of the blue Weber agave grown there and combines traditional production methods with modern technology to create tequilas of the highest quality.
