Outta Space - Glitter Black Gin

Volume: 0.5 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

Glitter Black Gin from Outta Space Spirits combines a black, glittering appearance with a fruity flavour profile. Dark fruits meet citrus and juniper. The clear bottle reveals the colour and glitter effect, while an astronaut and a space scene on the label reflect the brand's theme. The gin contains colouring and is offered at 40% alcohol in a 0.5-litre bottle.

Alongside juniper, the recipe includes citrus fruits and berries. The gin suits cocktails that showcase its glitter effect. One serving suggestion is the Floating GT: the gin is slowly poured over a spoon onto tonic water with ice, so that the two liquids initially form separate layers.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, fresh citrus notes combine with sweet and spicy impressions, accompanied by hints of herbs and spices.
• Palate: The gin is full-bodied and lively on the palate. Sweet and bitter nuances are balanced.
• Finish: The long finish is gentle and warming, with a light sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler:

The gin is made by Destille Kaltenthaler in Westhofen, Rheinhessen. Felix Georg Kaltenthaler is the third generation to run the family business. He grew up on his parents' wine estate and began exploring the distillation of his own spirits as a teenager.

The distillery's activities include its own brands, such as Kernstein and Revolte Rum, as well as the development and production of spirits for other brands. It supports white-label and private-label projects from concept through to production, working with both small quantities and larger commercial volumes.
