Special features: This Pure Single Rum from Velier comes from La Réunion and combines a Grand Arôme Rum with molasses rums aged for ten to fifteen years. Production was carried out in close collaboration with local producers, from distillation in a pot still to bottling. An elegant blend that stands out for its high ester content and limited bottling from the Habitation Velier range.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Elegant and complex with a rich sequence of orange and chocolate notes, complemented by ripe mango, mineral slate and hydrocarbon nuances.
• Palate: Fresh and lively, with juicy oranges on the opening, a spicy, rooty mid-palate (ginger, gentian), and a full-bodied sweetness of hot cane sugar. A light apricot note rounds out the taste.
• Finish: Long and sophisticated, with powdery notes of cocoa and red tea, supported by toffee and oak, ending fibrous and vegetal with hints of sugar cane.
