Privateer New England White Rum
Special features: This rum is produced in Ipswich, Massachusetts, from 100% locally sourced, high-quality molasses derived from sugarcane that thrives in the volcanic soils of Guatemala. The molasses is mixed with warm water, then diluted with cold water and fermented at 23–26 °C with a yeast specially selected for this rum. After fermentation, a double distillation takes place: first in a pot still, followed by a second distillation in a column with eight plates to obtain a clear, aromatic rum. After distillation, the rum is aged in stainless steel containers for two months to refine the flavors. No sweeteners, colorings, or artificial flavors are added, preserving the pure taste of the rum.
