Special Features:

Rampur Double Cask brings together two distinct cask influences: the expression, introduced in 2019, marries whiskies from selected American bourbon casks and European sherry casks. The miniature contains 0.05 litres.

The interplay between the cask types is reflected in a delicate balsamic vanilla note, rich caramel, dark dried fruit and spicy tones. The whisky is bottled at 45%, without chill filtration or added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals full-bodied aromas of tropical fruit with gentle malt tones and notes of oak.
• Palate: On the palate, sweet fruit combines with rich sherry notes.
• Finish: The finish is long, lingering and generous.

Distillery/Bottler:

Radico Khaitan’s roots lie in Rampur Distillery, which began operations in 1943. Rampur Single Malt is distilled and matured in the foothills of the Himalayas, where pronounced seasonal temperature contrasts shape the conditions for cask maturation.

The distillery produces the whisky in traditional copper pot stills. Anup Barik is the Master Blender behind the Rampur range; the house’s approach includes deliberately marrying different casks to balance aroma and flavour.
