Rhum J.M Shrubb - Orange & Rum Liqueur

Special features: The Rhum J.M Shrubb is a traditional orange rum liqueur from the renowned distillery J.M in Martinique. It is based on a blend of white rum and three-year-aged brown rum, in which peels of bitter oranges and various spices are macerated. After maceration, the liqueur ages for a certain period in oak barrels, giving it its characteristic amber color and additional aromas. The flavor is rounded off by the addition of pure cane sugar syrup, which gives the liqueur a harmonious sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler: The J.M distillery is located in the remote Macouba in the north of Martinique and was founded in 1845 by Jean-Marie Martin. It is known for producing Rhum Agricole, which is made from fresh sugarcane juice. The distillery places great importance on sustainability and uses its own cooperages to refurbish barrels.
