Special features: The Royal Brackla 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky is presented in an elegant packaging and has been refined after aging in American oak barrels in Oloroso sherry casks. This combination gives it a fruity and smooth character.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Intense aromas of ripe peaches, dark cherries, chocolate, and almonds, accompanied by a hint of muscovado sugar.
Palate: Soft and balanced with notes of nut chocolate, black currants, and dried plums, complemented by creamy caramel pudding and spicy oak.
Finish: Long and full-bodied with hints of dry red wine, a fine bitterness of roasted walnuts and dark chocolate, as well as woody spice.
Distillery/Bottler: The Royal Brackla Distillery, founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser, was the first Scottish distillery to receive the royal warrant from King William IV in 1833 and was allowed to call itself "Royal." It is located on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands and is known for producing high-quality single malts.
