Special Features:

This eleven-year-old Royal Brackla matured in a combination of first-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and bourbon barrels. Distilled in 2014, the Highland single malt was bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2025 as 100 Proof Edition #67 at 57.1%.

Dark fruit, raisins and dried apricots form the fruity core. Vanilla and malt meet nutty notes, pepper, sherry spices and oak, giving this powerful whisky a dry, long finish.

The bottling contains 0.7 litres and is neither chill-filtered nor coloured with added colouring.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose offers warm raisins, honeyed malt and vanilla, accompanied by citrus peel, sweet sherry spices and lightly toasted oak.
• Palate: The whisky is full-bodied and lively on the palate, with dried fruit, fruitcake, caramelised nuts and dried apricots. Vanilla, sweet malt, cocoa, pepper and further baking spices complete the profile.
• Finish: The finish is long and warming, with lingering sherry sweetness, gentle spices and a light dryness from the oak fading together.

Distillery/Bottler:

Royal Brackla was founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser on the Cawdor Estate in the Scottish Highlands. In 1833, its whisky became the first Scotch to receive a Royal Warrant from King William IV. The distillery produced the single malt for this bottling, which was distilled in 2014.

Andrew Symington founded Signatory Vintage Scotch Whisky with his brother in 1988. Its first bottling was a Glenlivet distilled in 1968. The company name recalls the original but later abandoned idea of having every bottle signed by a well-known personality. Since 2007, Signatory has operated entirely from the Edradour Distillery site in Pitlochry. For this edition, the independent bottler selected Royal Brackla and released the eleven-year-old whisky in its 100 Proof Edition in 2025.
