Special Features: This limited edition of the Scarabus Islay Single Malt presents itself with an intense Grand Cru finish in Bordeaux wine casks. Bottled in natural color and unfiltered, the whisky with an increased alcohol content of 57.0% vol. unfolds a powerful depth.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Dense clouds of peat, accompanied by aromas of ripe dark berries, maraschino cherries, and roasted hazelnuts, underpinned by earthy peat and a hint of sea salt.
Palate: Strong and full-bodied, with intense smokiness, combined with juicy red wine fruits, salted caramel, and spicy oak, complemented by maritime smoke and a touch of molasses.
Finish: Long and balanced, with fruity sweetness and fine tannins, embedded in peat and subtle wood spice.

Founded in 2013 by Stewart Laing and his sons Andrew and Scott, the company specializes in bottling high-quality single malts.
