Specifically, the Sea Shepherd Operation Milagro Tequila Reposado is dedicated to the campaign of the same name: The Operation Milagro has been conducted annually since 2015.
In cooperation with the Mexican government, the marine protectors patrol within the Gulf of California dolphin protection area (UNESCO World Heritage Site), retrieving illegal gillnets and thwarting poachers.
Illegal fishing gear with a total length of more than 200,000 meters has already been removed, around 3,400 whales, turtles, and more have been rescued alive, and countless others have been saved from death.
