Singleton of Dufftown Andalucia Reserva - Moscatel Wine Cask Finish

Volume: 0.7 litres | Alcohol content: 40% | Chill filtration: Yes | Colouring: Yes

Special Features:

After its initial maturation, the Andalucia Reserva is finished in casks that previously held Moscatel wine from Andalusia. This finishing period gives the soft, fruit-forward Speyside single malt a vinous accent, dessert-like sweetness and an approachable character.

Grape, peach and apricot form the fruity core, while orange and floral notes add brighter accents. Honey, vanilla and caramel contribute a gentle sweetness, joined by mild spices and light oak.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose reveals apricot and peach, accompanied by honey and mild vanilla.
• Palate: The whisky feels soft and gentle on the palate, with orange zest and floral nuances combining with honey and vanilla.
• Finish: The finish fades gently, leaving balanced sweetness, citrus fruit and a trace of caramel.

Distillery/Bottler:

Dufftown Distillery is located in the Speyside town of the same name, where whisky has been distilled since 1896. The distillery produces this single malt for The Singleton.

The Singleton is part of Diageo's brand portfolio and brings together single malts from the Dufftown, Glen Ord and Glendullan distilleries. A 75-hour fermentation, slow distillation and maturation in American and European oak shape the brand's overall style.
