Special Features:

SLYRS Alpine Herbs combines Bavarian single malt whisky with selected Alpine herbs from the mountain region. Its base is SLYRS Single Malt Whisky Classic, which is refined with water from the Bannwaldquelle spring and the respective ingredients to make the liqueurs. This miniature contains 0.05 litres at 30% alcohol; the same creation is also available in a 0.5-litre bottle.

In the glass, the liqueur displays warm earthy shades extending to deep chestnut brown. Its character combines fresh herbs with pleasant sweetness and a long herbal finish in which the whisky base remains recognisable.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, the herbs feel light and fresh.
• Palate: On the palate, pleasant sweetness combines with a pronounced herbal bouquet.
• Finish: The finish reveals a light caramel note alongside the characteristic SLYRS single malt character. The herbs linger on the palate.

Distillery/Bottler:

SLYRS Destillerie GmbH & Co. KG produces the single malt base and the liqueurs made from it at Schliersee, bottling them under its own brand. Florian Stetter developed the idea for an Upper Bavarian single malt after a study trip to Scottish distilleries in 1994. The first SLYRS Single Malt was distilled in 1999; the whisky distillery in Neuhaus am Schliersee was established in 2007. For its liqueur range, SLYRS combines its Classic with water from the Bannwaldquelle spring and ingredients specific to each variety.
