Special features: This 10-year-old single malt whisky from the renowned Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland, was initially matured for seven years in refill bourbon casks and then refined for three years in fresh Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks made from Spanish oak. This double maturation imparts a complex aroma and depth. Bottled at a robust 55% ABV, this whisky is presented in a limited edition and without the addition of coloring or chill filtration.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: An unmistakable sherry influence unfolds immediately with rich notes of date syrup and raisins that introduce this full-bodied dram.
• Palate: A tannic, spicy element emerges on the palate, accompanied by flavors of cola cubes, cherry menthol, cinnamon, and caramel. The typical Springbank characteristics assert themselves against the strong PX influence in the form of a slight oiliness and a moist note of straw and wood.
• Finish: The tannic element continues through to the finish, where the PX flavors come to the forefront with notes of sultanas and rich spices.
