Special features: This premium rum from the Seychelles is produced right near a dream beach on Mahé. Brothers Richard and Bernard d’Offay process pure sugarcane juice and molasses from the Indian Ocean region. Batch 3 combines distillates from Pot Still and Column Still, which aged between three and eight years in various barrels – including New French Oak, port wine, and bourbon barrels. The rum is neither sweetened, colored, nor chill-filtered and impresses with its complex barrel aging.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Lush aromas of raisins and black cherries
- Palate: Rich in plums and a variety of dried fruits
- Finish: Long-lasting, characterized by dark forest berries, marzipan confection, and a fine spice note
