Special Features:

Batch 4 continues the Cigar Malt series with a whisky matured entirely in first-fill European oak Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 53.8% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring. Its robust combination of sherry oak, dark fruit, dessert notes and spices is designed to accompany a cigar.

The wooden gift box contains a cigar cutter and a booklet. Its presentation therefore also reflects the Cigar Malt series' pairing concept.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose combines warm, sticky ginger pudding with spicy sherry oak, while a hint of dark cherry provides a fruity accent.
• Palate: Crème brûlée and sherry-soaked plum crumble emerge on the palate, accompanied by delicate fig and bitter cocoa.
• Finish: The finish is long and warming. Ripe apricot and toasted almonds fade with honey and a delicate note of beeswax.

Distillery/Bottler:

Founded on the River Spey in 1897, Tamdhu Distillery belongs to Ian Macleod Distillers. Tamdhu uses European and American oak Oloroso sherry casks prepared in Jerez. For Batch 4, the whisky was matured exclusively in first-fill European oak Oloroso sherry casks and released as a distillery bottling.
