Special Features:

Whole fresh citrus fruits are central to Tanqueray No. Ten. Their distillate is produced in the copper still Tiny Ten, which has a capacity of 500 litres and gives the gin its name. Small-batch production and the interplay of citrus fruits, juniper and chamomile shape this bottling.

The gin is bottled at 47.3%. This version contains 1 litre and comes without gift packaging. Its citrus-led character works equally well in a Martini or a classic Gin & Tonic.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Grapefruit and lime lead the intense aroma, with a subtle juniper note remaining discernible behind them.
• Palate: The gin is full-bodied and layered on the palate. Floral chamomile notes complement its pronounced citrus freshness.
• Finish: The long finish carries a subtle coriander spice.

Distillery/Bottler:

Charles Tanqueray founded his distillery in London's Bloomsbury district in 1830. For the original London Dry gin, he developed more than 300 recipe variations using four botanicals. The brand now belongs to Diageo, and Tanqueray is now distilled in Scotland.

Production takes place at Cameronbridge in the Scottish region of Fife. Gordon’s and Smirnoff are also produced there alongside Tanqueray. Water is drawn from boreholes along the River Leven and treated on site. In 2008, Diageo invested in a bioenergy and water treatment facility there that uses distillation by-products to supply energy.
