For Small Batch, the Teeling Whiskey Company selects grain and malt whiskeys from ex-bourbon casks, marries them in rum casks and also bottles the finished blend as a miniature. The Teeling family’s history in Dublin whiskey making dates back to 1782, when Walter Teeling founded a small distillery on Marrowbone Lane. Jack and Stephen Teeling began the brand’s modern chapter in 2012 and opened a new distillery in the Liberties, Dublin’s historic distilling district, in 2015. It was the first new distillery to open in the city for more than 125 years.
