Tasting Notes:
Nose: The nose is dominated by strong green apples, followed by baked apples, while vanilla, light floral notes, and a hint of malt come through.
Palate: On the palate, the apples re-emerge, accompanied by intense grain and a citrus note that lingers.
Finish: The finish is smooth and marked by a clear lemon note.
Distillery/Bottler: The Macduff Distillery was founded in 1960 and is located on the eastern bank of the River Deveron in Banff, Scotland. It uses a special configuration of two wash stills and three spirit stills, while the water for production comes from the Gelly spring. The whisky produced here carries the brand The Deveron.
