The Golden Cask Strathmill 11 Years

Special features: This strictly limited single cask bottling from 2011 was bottled in March 2023. Only 309 bottles of the Strathmill 11 Years were filled from cask No. CM 296 – a worthy representative of the traditional Speyside distillery. The product is unfiltered and without coloring, preserving the natural character of the whisky.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Intriguing notes of ripe fruit and subtle spices, accompanied by light malt aromas.
  • Palate: Full-bodied with hints of vanilla, honey, and a touch of citrus, underpinned by elegant oak tones.
  • Finish: Long-lasting, warm with spicy nuances and fine sweetness.

Distillery/Bottler: The Strathmill Distillery is located in Keith, Scotland, in the heart of the famous Speyside region. Founded in 1891 on the site of an old grain mill, it was initially known as Glenisla-Glenlivet before receiving its current name in 1895. Now part of the Diageo group, Strathmill primarily produces whisky for blends like J&B. It wasn't until 1993 that a standalone single malt was offered. The distillery operates with two wash stills and two spirit stills, with an annual production capacity of around two million liters.
