Special Features:
This gift set pairs a 0.7-litre bottle of Tullamore D.E.W. Original with a matching long drink glass. The Irish whiskey is bottled at 40% and comes in gift packaging.
Tullamore D.E.W. Original brings together triple-distilled grain, malt and pot still whiskey. The grain component contributes sweetness, the malt component fruitiness and the pot still component spice. The whiskeys mature for several years in previously used refill casks, former bourbon casks and former sherry butts. The result is a mellow blend with fruity, sweet and spicy qualities.
Tasting Notes:
Distillery/Bottler:
Whiskey-making in Tullamore dates back to 1829. The initials D.E.W. stand for Daniel Edmund Williams, who began as a stable boy at the distillery and later became its manager. Today, Tullamore D.E.W. is made in the Irish town of Tullamore. The brand belongs to William Grant & Sons.
