This Tullibardine was distilled on 30 May 2013 and bottled on 19 February 2026 at twelve years of age. For The Octave series, Duncan Taylor finished the whisky in a small Pedro Ximénez sherry octave. Cask 10550013 yielded 68 bottles at 54.6%.

The whisky retains its natural colour and was not chill-filtered. Juicy red grapes, raisins, sweet PX sherry and dark fruit shape its aromatic profile. On the palate, syrupy richness meets concentrated malt before giving way to a long finish marked by robust spice and pronounced wood notes.

• Palate: The whisky is full and syrupy on the palate, where concentrated malt combines with dense fruit, deep sweetness and dry hints of wood.

Distillery/Bottler:

Tullibardine distilled this whisky in Blackford, Perthshire. The distillery occupies a former brewery site that William Delme-Evans began converting into a distillery in 1947, and it draws its water from the Danny Burn. Today, every stage of single malt production except malting takes place there. Its facilities include four copper stills, a cooperage, warehouses and a bottling plant.

As the independent bottler, Duncan Taylor handled the finishing and bottling for The Octave series. The company operates its own cask warehouses, cooperage and bottling plant in Huntly, allowing it to store, monitor and bottle selected casks on site.
