Special Features:

The 100 Proof Edition #44 pairs Tullibardine Highland single malt with nine years of maturation in first- and second-fill Oloroso sherry butts. Distilled in 2015, the whisky was bottled by Signatory Vintage in 2025 at 57.1%. It is not chill-filtered and contains no added colouring.

Sherry maturation brings together toffee apple and orange zest with raisin bread, red berries, cocoa and toasted nuts. Cinnamon and candied citrus add spice, while oak tannin lends a dry edge to the fruitcake-like finish.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: The nose offers toffee apple and honey-sweet barley alongside orange zest and raisin bread. Cocoa and a hint of toasted hazelnut complete the aromas.
• Palate: Velvety on the palate, the whisky tastes of toffee with dark sugar syrup, red berry compote and malt biscuits. Cinnamon chocolate, toasted almonds and candied citrus follow.
• Finish: The medium-long to long finish dries gently, leaving sherry-soaked fruitcake, mild oak tannin and, finally, a sweetness of vanilla and malt.

Distillery/Bottler:

Tullibardine is located in Blackford, on the edge of the Scottish Highlands. In the 1940s, William Delme-Evans converted a former brewery there into a whisky distillery, using water from the Danny Burn. Today, the distillery has ten washbacks and four copper stills; malting is the only stage not carried out on site. Signatory Vintage was founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. The independent bottler later moved its operations to the Edradour distillery site in Pitlochry and releases selected whiskies in its own edition ranges.
