This Irish-Scottish collaboration places spicy Dingle Single Pot Still Whiskey at its heart and complements it with three Scottish components. The blend combines 41% Dingle matured in Oloroso hogsheads, 29% Balmenach Single Malt from first-fill PX puncheons, 12% Blair Athol Single Malt from first-fill rye barrels and 18% Loch Lomond Grain Whisky from first-fill bourbon barrels.

Turntable selected the three Scottish components to accentuate the spice of the Dingle component. This full-bodied blend is bottled at 52%, with natural colour and without chill filtration.

The bottling won a title at the 2025 Global Whisky Masters and was named Best International Blended Release at the 2026 World Whiskies Awards.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, a pronounced sherry note and cigar spice mingle with chocolate-covered raisins and sweet marzipan, while dark chocolate, honey and lemon soda complete the bouquet.
• Palate: On the palate, the whisky recalls freshly baked chocolate and walnut cake, followed by bitter leather, spicy tobacco and nutmeg, complemented by orange zest, vanilla and honey.
• Finish: The complex, medium-to-long finish remains spicy, with lingering oat biscuits and raisins. Chocolate pralines, roasted nuts and a sweet note of milk and honey round it off.

Distillery/Bottler:

Turntable Blending House was founded by two brothers who together draw on more than twenty years of experience. The house works in small batches and discloses the composition of its blends; for Drop 02, it brought together the four matured whisky components and bottled the finished blend.

Dingle was the first independent distillery in more than a century to release an Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey again. Its whiskey matured in Oloroso hogsheads accounts for 41%, making it the largest individual component in this collaboration.
