Special Features: This 5-year-aged blended Irish whiskey from West Cork Distillers combines 75% grain and 25% malt whiskey. After triple distillation in the in-house "Rocket Still," one of the fastest pot stills in the world, the whiskey matured in first-fill bourbon casks. This innovative production method gives the whiskey its characteristic flavor and depth.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of hay and freshly cut grass, accompanied by caramel and the sweetness of pears, underlined with hints of dried plums.
- Palate: Layered complexities of barley and malt, harmoniously combined with vanilla and a touch of black pepper.

Distillery/Bottler: West Cork Distillers was founded in 2003 by friends Denis McCarthy, Ger McCarthy, and John O’Connell. The distillery is located in picturesque Skibbereen, County Cork, Ireland, and is known for its artisanal production of whiskey and gin. It exclusively uses Irish grain and malts a portion of the grain itself, resulting in authentic and characterful products.
