Special features: This limited release from the "Vibrant Stills" series combines two Oloroso sherry casks, Cask #116 from 2014 and Cask #264 from 2015, which matured for over ten years at the Wolfburn Distillery in Thurso, Scotland. Bottled at full cask strength of 57.8% vol., without chill filtration and without coloring, this single malt presents itself authentically and powerfully. With only 1,302 bottles worldwide, it is an exclusive collector's item for whisky lovers.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Sherry notes, fruity and creamy. Aromas of milk chocolate and nougat combine with fruity notes of cherry, strawberry, and a hint of plum jam.
- Palate: Sweet, robust, and full-bodied with notes of banana, chocolate bar, syrup, honey yogurt, and gingerbread dough. A drop of water reveals nutty nuances of nougat and roasted almonds.
- Finish: Long-lasting with a slightly spicy note, accompanied by impressions of toast with honey and candied orange peel.
