For Wolfburn’s first Cognac-finished edition, this single malt matured in first-fill bourbon casks from 2017. It spent its final six months in selected first-fill Cognac casks made from French Limousin oak. The edition comprises 3,900 bottles.
The whisky was bottled in 2025 at 46%. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured and comes in gift packaging.

Distillery/Bottler:
Wolfburn distils in Thurso on Scotland’s north coast. The present distillery revives a site dating from the 19th century, where spirit flowed again in 2013 after a break of more than 150 years. Wolfburn mills its malt, distils and bottles its whisky on site without automated production steps. A long fermentation is followed by gentle distillation in copper pot stills. This whisky also matured in Thurso and was bottled by Wolfburn itself.
