The Winter Edition is a Dutch single blended whisky whose recipe combines rye, malted rye, malted barley and corn. This grain composition shapes its exceptionally smooth flavour and creamy mouthfeel; the rye character remains distinct yet restrained.

Bright fruit notes, honeyed sweetness and vanilla meet oak and a peppery finish. This seasonal bottling has an alcohol content of 43%.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: On the nose, green and red apples, lemon and mandarin create a fresh opening, followed by apricot, apple pie, honey, vanilla and delicate oak.
• Palate: The whisky is creamy and balanced on the palate; a distinct yet restrained rye note combines with layered fruit and honeyed flavours.
• Finish: The medium-length finish is peppery, with vanilla and oak.

Distillery/Bottler:

Zuidam Distillers is a family business based in Baarle-Nassau in the Netherlands and has operated there for more than five decades. The distillery has its own maltings and distils in copper pot stills; this Winter Edition is one of its own bottlings.
