Billy Walker spent endless amounts of time in the GlenAllachie warehouse sampling the distillery's cask range. With over 40,000 casks on site, it's not for the faint-hearted. But it was certainly time well spent when tasting the results of his efforts. After tasting this huge range of casks, Billy Walker has unveiled the GlenAllachie 10 years old Cask Strength Batch 01.
It's time again and you can look forward to a new batch of the GlenAllachie 10 years old Cask Strength series.
The key to this great malt is dedication. Under the direction of Master Distiller Billy Walker, slow fermentation, precise distillation and long maturation in the finest casks from around the world create this fantastic single malt that is as natural as the rocky place it comes from. And to preserve that rich, full flavor, it is bottled at a higher alcohol content.

Tasting Notes:
Colour: Rich mahogany
Nose: Lots of heather honey, dark chocolate and mocha, with almonds, cinnamon and orange peel.
Taste: Dark chocolate, syrup, mocha, heather honey and almonds, plus cinnamon jam and grapefruit.
