Special features: This exquisite 12-year-old rum is created in collaboration between the French Naud Distillery and the Venezuelan Destilería Sofa. After the sugarcane is harvested in the fertile regions of Venezuela, the rum first matures in former bourbon barrels under tropical conditions. It then undergoes further aging in French oak barrels in the Cognac region, which gives the rum a special depth and complexity.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Aromas of caramel, muscovado sugar, coconut, cedarwood, and oak.
- Palate: Smooth and harmonious with notes of caramel, light spices, and a creamy texture.
- Finish: Medium-long with warm, spicy notes and a hint of oak.
